Getting ready for the road

To be the best courier you can be, it’s important you have the right job kit and equipment. For example, the type of clothing you wear can change depending on the season you’re working and the city you’re living in. So it’s important you have a complete overview of what’s allowed. Here is an overview of the equipment we provide and all necessary information for when you’re out making deliveries.

What equipment do we provide?

Below is a table of all the items we provide. This may change depending on your vehicle type as well as the availability in our warehouse. For example we do not provide a helmet and bike smartphone holder to car couriers.

I use my own bike, what should I be aware of?

You should be able to use your bike for several hours and it should be roadsafe. Please, make sure to also always wear your helmet. 

Best Practices and tips and tricks

Beyond having a bike that is roadsafe, you’ll also need enough phone battery when you’re out and about. When you start work, it’s vital that you have at least 80% battery on your smartphone with available data access. 

What smartphone can I use as a Lieferando courier?
